In Himachal Pradesh, the intensity of monsoon rainfall has diminished, yet nearly 600 roads, including four national highways, remain closed to traffic, as reported by officials on Wednesday. As of Wednesday evening, the highest number of blocked roads, totaling 216, is in Kullu, while Mandi district has 150 roads that are inaccessible.

Despite an improvement in weather conditions across the state, several key national highways are still shut down. These include the Atal Tunnel-Leh Road (NH-3), the Old Hindustan-Tibet Road (NH-5), the Aut-Sainj Road (NH-305), and the Amritsar-Bhota Road (NH-503A), contributing to a total of 586 closed roads.
